I'm a musician (🎹) passionate about heavy metal, classic rock and classical music. Feel free to listen to my band Southern Force on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/artist/0lsR3pe3adJ2LKpUwY79V0?si=xOf2OTebSX6a4OlyZ6DKhg&utm_source=copy-link
Such a great cover of Fleetwood Mac's classic song.
Yesterday I listened to this band after, I think, more than two years. Back in my teen years I used to hear them nearly everyday, and I had the luck of seeing them live back in 2017. Nonetheless, here in Argentina, audiences are generally loud, which doesn't really work for a band like Sigue Rós.
Such a beautiful song and a great band I discovered playing the videogame Euro Truck Simulator, a game where you're basically an European truck driver that drives around the continent's freeways.
In the game, you can listen to several European radios where you can discover lot of new songs.
I discovered this song thanks to a chat I had with a random guy on Instagram (back in the day I used to upload lots of keyboard covers there), and I think it was when I uploaded a Journey's medley that this dude (which I can't remember his name) recommended me this great band.
Although I discovered this song just last year, it immediately became my favorite hard rock ballad.
Besides having a pretty interesting and striking tittle, this song has such a great interpretation. Everything on it is sounds so natural to me.
I should give other songs by this band an opportunity, since this one is the only one I know.
Do you have any recommendations??
As I've stated the other day, is amazing how you can always discover new great songs from the 80's even when you thought you've heard everything form that period.
Erasure was going to play in my country, but sadly they cancelled the tour. Guess that for the moment, I'll (and we) just have to conform with listening to their music on Spotify, but I'm looking forward to seeing them live any time soon.
It's amazing how the 80's are such a broad source of music, where you can always discover new great tracks, even when you think that there is no more music from the period to be found. Here's "Stay The Night", song I discovered yesterday thanks to an YouTube playlist.
Tonight with my band Southern Force, we'll perform as a support for Brazilian hard rock group Dr. Sin.
For me and for the band, is an achieved milestone to begin to share the stage with historical bands.
I think there is no other song more elegant than this one...
This one's my favorite track by Robbie Williams.
I remember when I was around 10 years old, back in 2003 and listening some of the songs from the concert in Knebworth, such as Angels and Feel. I remember that the parts I liked the most were the ones where the audience sang.
I discovered this song last year watching the movie Shrek 2 🙈🙈
In any case, this song for me is a mix of soothing, like some kind of lullaby, and a bit despairing ,due to the feeling it has and the interpretation.
Yesterday I saw a guy with a Def Leppard song and I remembered the band. I had the luck of seeing them live back on 2017 and it was a great concert, although they didn't play this song which is one of my favorites.
Otoño (Autumn) is starting today in my country, and although I prefer a warm weather, I felt a little change was needed. Therefore, welcome to this new season with this nice (and warm) song by Spanish singer Perales (and yes, I'm aware that in many of your countries spring is starting today ☀️)
I always get impressed (and it's something I wish I could do, since to express myself in music I need of more instruments), by people who can express such intense feelings in piano solo pieces. Hopefully, someday I'll be able to do something similar to Ludovico.
I guess some day I had to share some music from my country (Argentina) although I hardly listen to it.
This track is one of the most emblematics here and the one everyone can sing the chorus. Gustavo Cerati (singer and guitar player) also had a prolific solo career.
This song always gives me the feeling of being in a holiday, driving in a place with mountain, a beautiful sea and the most perfect weather, being in the best company. ⛱️🏞️
When I found out about this cover of Simon & Garfunkel's song, my first thought was that it was going to be a stereotyped metal version with some screams and a distorted guitar in the chorus.
But no, it is a completely difference version full of feeling and capable of giving you lots of goosebumps.
Hisaishi 久石 譲 is my favorite Japanese artist. This piece from Kikujiro 菊次郎の夏, one of my favorite Japanese films (my favorite is Okuribito おくりびと) always moves me. The middle part amazing.
Although I’m not a fan of the movies, l admire Hisaishi's Studio Ghibli music, specially Chihiro 千と千尋の神隠し.
If there's one band I'm sad I didn't see live (and will never do due to singer Dolores O'Riordan departure) that one would be Cranberries.
I find their music (with that "weird" Irish pronunciation) unique. The first song I heard was Zombie but over time I discovered more of their great discography.
How "human" this song sounds was my first thought first time I heard it. Although undeniably the performers are fantastic, what surprises me more about Adele is how real and authentic her music sounds and the fact that, in general, all her songs are just piano/voice.
I discovered this song by Hungarian band Omega thanks to a friend who sent me a top with the most popular songs by country. When I first heard this one, I immediately liked it. The strings melody is amazing.
I visited Budapest (capital of Hungary) in 2019 and it became one of my favorites cities.
Yesterday Ghost (another one of my top 5 bands) released a new record. Although I was a bit disappointed with the first half of it (and with the first 2 singles they dropped before the album), luckily things got better on the second part. This song and Twenties were my favorites from this new work.
Yesterday Rammstein (one of my top 5 bands) released a new song.
Lately I didn't like all the new music that the bands I like released, so it was a pleasant surprise for me to hear this track. I really liked the music, the lyrics and the videoclip. For me, it showed the maturity of the band.
My favorite song by Depeche Mode.
For me this track has such a desperate feeling, like being trapped in your own mind (which can make sense if you see the addiction problems they were facing when they released this record)
I've always been a Depeche Mode fan and I practically like all of their work.
I was listening to this song yesterday when Spotify went down. Although I'm not a fan, I find it hard to believe how innovative Bowie's music sounds even though it was composed decades ago.
My favorite song by Europe. Despite that for years I thought they only have 2 good songs (Final Countdown and Carrie), last year I discovered this one (and I'll Cry For You and Open Your Heart) and it became the song that I heard the most in 2021. I love how powerful it gets in the final chorus.
Although first time I heard Fleetwood Mac it was not of my taste, over time it became one of my favorites bands. There are several songs I like, but this one is my favorite. I really like its elegance (specially in the keyboards) and the feel it has.
