Hoppípolla Sigur Rós
Yesterday I listened to this band after, I think, more than two years. Back in my teen years I used to hear them nearly everyday, and I had the luck of seeing them live back in 2017. Nonetheless, here in Argentina, audiences are generally loud, which doesn't really work for a band like Sigue Rós.

Such a beautiful song and a great band I discovered playing the videogame Euro Truck Simulator, a game where you're basically an European truck driver that drives around the continent's freeways. In the game, you can listen to several European radios where you can discover lot of new songs.

This one's my favorite track by Robbie Williams. I remember when I was around 10 years old, back in 2003 and listening some of the songs from the concert in Knebworth, such as Angels and Feel. I remember that the parts I liked the most were the ones where the audience sang.

I guess some day I had to share some music from my country (Argentina) although I hardly listen to it. This track is one of the most emblematics here and the one everyone can sing the chorus. Gustavo Cerati (singer and guitar player) also had a prolific solo career.

The Sound of Silence Disturbed
When I found out about this cover of Simon & Garfunkel's song, my first thought was that it was going to be a stereotyped metal version with some screams and a distorted guitar in the chorus. But no, it is a completely difference version full of feeling and capable of giving you lots of goosebumps.

Summer Joe Hisaishi
Hisaishi 久石譲 is my favorite Japanese artist. This piece from Kikujiro 菊次郎の夏, one of my favorite Japanese films (my favorite is Okuribito おくりびと) always moves me. The middle part amazing. Although I’m not a fan of the movies, l admire Hisaishi's Studio Ghibli music, specially Chihiro 千と千尋の神隠し.

Ode To My Family The Cranberries
If there's one band I'm sad I didn't see live (and will never do due to singer Dolores O'Riordan departure) that one would be Cranberries. I find their music (with that "weird" Irish pronunciation) unique. The first song I heard was Zombie but over time I discovered more of their great discography.

How "human" this song sounds was my first thought first time I heard it. Although undeniably the performers are fantastic, what surprises me more about Adele is how real and authentic her music sounds and the fact that, in general, all her songs are just piano/voice.

I discovered this song by Hungarian band Omega thanks to a friend who sent me a top with the most popular songs by country. When I first heard this one, I immediately liked it. The strings melody is amazing. I visited Budapest (capital of Hungary) in 2019 and it became one of my favorites cities.

Yesterday Ghost (another one of my top 5 bands) released a new record. Although I was a bit disappointed with the first half of it (and with the first 2 singles they dropped before the album), luckily things got better on the second part. This song and Twenties were my favorites from this new work.

Yesterday Rammstein (one of my top 5 bands) released a new song. Lately I didn't like all the new music that the bands I like released, so it was a pleasant surprise for me to hear this track. I really liked the music, the lyrics and the videoclip. For me, it showed the maturity of the band.

For me this track has such a desperate feeling, like being trapped in your own mind (which can make sense if you see the addiction problems they were facing when they released this record) I've always been a Depeche Mode fan and I practically like all of their work.

Superstitious Europe
My favorite song by Europe. Despite that for years I thought they only have 2 good songs (Final Countdown and Carrie), last year I discovered this one (and I'll Cry For You and Open Your Heart) and it became the song that I heard the most in 2021. I love how powerful it gets in the final chorus.
